Our Medicines Management Service at 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing:
Accurate and independent education and information about drug therapy to service users and carers.
Information and education for Trust staff, other professionals, and voluntary helpers
Clinical activities to help ensure the optimum use of drug therapies
Drug use management to ensure the most cost-effective use is made of resources
To support this commitment, our Trust has a dedicated Medicines Management Team that provides specialist pharmaceutical support to clinicians, service users and carers.
Other sources of information include your doctor, nurse or pharmacist (chemist), the information leaflet that comes with your medication, our local helpline, or a national helpline like Mind or NHS Direct.
If you can't find the information you need, then ask your care coordinator to arrange a meeting with a local specialist mental health pharmacist for advice.
