More information and leaflets about benztropine

There are many other Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) from across the world for patients and carers. As these are not on our site we can't take any responsibility for them, but you might find some useful things here:

  • Australia - for the CMI (Consumer Medicine Information) information leaflet go to Medicines.org.au. You might then go to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) to see if it is funded in Australia
  • New Zealand - Consumer Medicine Information is at NZ Government MedSafe (search by ingredient name)
  • UK  - not available
  • Republic of Ireland  - go to medicines.ie (search for benztropine).
  • South Africa - go to Intekom.com, for some Electronic Package Inserts, although they might not all be up-to-date
  • USA - some package inserts are at RxList (with some useful advice on how to read them at The Well Project)
    • NB. Some of these sites also have an or Data Sheet, which is the maker's instruction leaflet, written in medical-speak with lots of jargon so you need medical knowledge to be able to read it properly.
  • There are also some very easy read leaflets from Birmingham University, The Elfrida Society and the Royal College of Psychiatry. Last time we looked there wasn't one for biperiden on any of these sites.
