BBC NEWS – Medicine Information Leaflets Deemed ‘to scary!’
Posted on 21st June 2017 by Lisa Yates
A report published on BBC News yesterday (20th June 2017) stated that patients are made unduly anxious by the long, off putting, scientific jargon used on the manufacturers PILs (Patient Information Leaflets). A full copy of the report can be viewed online at: BBC NEWS REPORT
As a company Mistura Enterprise Ltd has lead the way in establishing this fact since 1992 which is basically why Choice and Medication© was created to inform patients about the medication choices available as well as advise on the benefits of medication using a balanced outlook. All the information we write for PILs in clearly communicated in lay-mans terms so as not to confuse the patient or scare them in to not adhering to their prescriptions.

We don’t just cover the medications used to treat mental health issues however we also cover every drug within the BNF in an easy to read format in less than 250 words. The fantastic new medical information system MaPPs2® brought to you from our sister company Mistura Informatics Limited© is only available on subscription but can be used by any healthcare organisation, GP surgery, community pharmacy or distric nurse. For further information on the MaPPs2® system please contact Lisa direct via: lisa.yates@misturainformatics.org

Should you require any further information on the methods we use to write our PILs please contact the Choice and Medication© team direct via: admin@choiceandmedication.org.uk
